Job Description

Bedzzz is a leading property rental business. The company forms part of Elbros Group, which is amongst one of the most important and long-standing construction entities in the country.

The Company is seeking to recruit a Site Manager who shall be primarily responsible for the finishing stages of its development projects and shall work both on-site and from the office.

The responsibilities of this role will include but will not be limited to:

  • Providing management insight and supervision during the finishing phases of the project and ensuring that works are progressing in accordance with the agreed specifications, good workmanship and within stipulated timeframes.
  • Coordination and direct liaison with service providers deployed at various sites of the Company.
  • Seeing to any reported shortcomings, including immediately rectifying any safety violations.
  • Liaison with internal/external architects, works managers and engineers regarding any enquiries and/or requests and/or changes relating to the developments.
  • Carrying out furniture layouts using AutoCAD.
  • Determining the quantities required for projected finishes works, drawing up bills of quantities, programmes of works, supplier contracts and obtaining quotes from various sub-contractors at selection stage.
  • Reviewing the finishing phase of all projects and monitoring that works are progressing in line with program of works (and providing period reports to his/her superiors).
  • Measurement of finishing works on site.
  • Providing timely and constructive feedback to all direct reports as and when required either formally or informally.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

The ideal candidate should:

  • Have a minimum of 24 months experience in a similar role.
  • Well-versed in AutoCAD and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of quantity surveying.
  • Be motivated and able to work on his / her own initiative, unsupervised and part of a team whilst adhering to deadlines.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, able to multi-task and an eye for detail.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Clean driving license and police conduct report.
  • Valid working permit (in force).
