As a Security Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our dynamic Security team, playing a critical role in ensuring safety and security throughout our organization.

Responsibilities will include but, are not limited to:

  • Working with and supervising the Security team to monitor and patrol the premises. You will oversee the security team on duty, ensuring all officers adhere to protocols and perform their duties effectively.
  • Checking the work of previous shifts to ensure continuity and addressing any issues promptly.
  • Assisting with the upkeep of first aid kits and supplies, ensuring they are well-stocked and accessible.
  • Vigilantly identifying and reporting general hazards, including fire safety concerns.
  • Inspection of fire extinguishers, hose reels and fire panels.
  • Under the guidance of the Security Manager, conducting internal investigations when necessary.
  • Documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.
  • Creating operational processes and procedures as requested by the Security Manager.
  • Training of staff members on procedures.
  • Creating and upkeep inventories which falls under the Security department.
  • Assisting in evacuation and emergency preparedness processes and exercises.

To successfully fulfil this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • Ideal candidates should have a minimum of one year of supervisory experience.
  • Quick decision-making: Ability to make sound judgments on the spot.
  • Coordinating resources efficiently to meet business requirements.
  • Private guard license, issued by the Malta police force.
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Have excellent attention to detail.
  • Have an effective working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Have a good command of English, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with guests, staff, and authorities.
