Job role
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a full-time Desk Attendant. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our waterfront desk operations, handling customer transactions, and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests.
Key responsibilities:
- Welcome customers with a warm and professional manner, providing assistance with inquiries, bookings, and payments.
- Operate cash register and POS system to accurately process payments for water sports activities, rentals, and merchandise.
- Answer phone calls and emails, providing information about our watersport offerings, pricing, and availability.
- Coordinate with watersport instructors and staff to schedule activities and manage bookings efficiently.
- Resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or retail, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Proficiency in cash handling and basic math skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic work environment.
- Familiarity with water sports activities and safety procedures is an advantage but not required.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in additional languages such as French, and Italian is an advantage.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends and holidays as needed.
