Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Furniture Assembler to join our team. As a Furniture Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling and installing furniture for our clients. Your attention to detail and ability to follow instructions will ensure that our furniture is assembled correctly and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret furniture assembly instructions and drawings
- Gather necessary tools and materials for each assembly job
- Assemble furniture pieces according to instructions and drawings
- Ensure all pieces are securely attached and functioning properly
- Install furniture in designated areas, such as offices, schools or other workplaces
- Inspect finished product for quality and make any necessary adjustments
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction with the assembled furniture
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies when needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in furniture assembly or carpentry preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools
- Physical ability to lift and move furniture pieces
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driving license
