Position Overview
The Storekeeper is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory control and maintaining cleanliness and organization within the storage areas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with exceptional organizational skills. The Storekeeper will work closely with the sales departments to ensure the store’s operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store all merchandise, verifying it against purchase orders and invoices.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all storage areas, implementing efficient space management techniques.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to the Supply Chain Manager.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in inventory management or a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role involving inventory management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate in Maltese and English.
- Driving license is a plus.
