Job Description
Zampa Debattista is a firm of certified public accountants, located in Mosta and we are looking for a Tax Compliance Specialist.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of income tax returns and computations for both corporate entities and individuals.
- Preparation of income tax refund claim forms, shareholder registration and dividend warrants.
- Assisting individual clients with respect to any Provisional Tax Payments and Social Security Contributions.
- Preparation of DAC 6 reports.
- Liaising with the tax authorities on tax compliance matters as may be required.
Education, Skillsets and Requirements:
- Currently in the final stages of obtaining an ACCA qualification or equivalent qualification in accountancy.
- Have a good knowledge of the Maltese Income Tax system.
- Be results-driven, with excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Be able to work on their own initiative.
- Have an excellent command of English.
- Be analytical with good problem-solving skills, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
- Willingness to learn and develop professionally in a fast-paced environment.
