Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Camera Operator to join our team and help us capture high-quality footage for our projects. As a Camera Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various cameras and equipment to capture the desired shots. You will work closely with the director and other team members to ensure that the vision for the project is achieved through the use of camera techniques and movements.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate cameras and other equipment for filming
- Collaborate with the director and other team members to understand the vision for the project
- Determine the best camera angles and movements to capture the desired shots
- Adjust camera settings and lighting to achieve the desired look and feel
- Monitor and maintain camera equipment to ensure it is in good working condition
- Communicate with the director and other team members to ensure shots are captured according to the vision
- Troubleshoot any technical issues that may arise during filming
- Follow safety protocols and procedures while operating equipment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Camera Operator or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of camera equipment and techniques
- Familiarity with different types of cameras and their functions
- Ability to work well in a team and take direction from the director
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings especially weekends
