Villa Bologna Pottery has been making handmade and hand-painted ceramics since 1924. We make tableware, lamps and decorative pieces from earthenware clay.
The Role
We are seeking a reliable Shop Assistant to join our team in our Attard shop. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers, organising the product around the shop and maintaining a clean and tidy shop.
The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, enjoy making sales and be able to work independently.
Main Roles
- Greet customers and assist with purchases
- Build and foster relationships with customers
- Operate the point of sale and handle the financial transactions accurately
- Re-stock shelves and make sure all products are properly labelled
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the store
- Receive, unpack and price new products
- Assist in packing online orders
- Assist in stock counts
Required Skills
- Must have experience in retail or customer service environment
- Be sales orientated
- Must be highly organised, efficient and responsible
