Job Role
As a Slots Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring an exceptional gaming experience for our patrons. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the operation of slot machines, providing assistance to players as needed and maintaining the smooth functioning of the gaming floor.
Role and Responsibilities
- Customer service and assistance: Assist players with questions, payouts, and issues related to slot machines. Provide friendly and efficient customer service to enhance the overall gaming experience.
- Slot machine care: Perform routine tasks on slot machines, and other equipment, ensuring all machines are in proper working order and reporting any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
- Promotions and marketing: Assist in the implementation of promotional activities and marketing campaigns related to slot machines. Distribute promotional materials and engage with players to encourage participation in special events and promotions.
- Surveillance: Monitor the gaming floor for any suspicious or unauthorized activity, ensuring compliance with casino regulations and security protocols.
- Compliance: Familiarize yourself with gaming regulations and casino policies to always ensure adherence. Maintain a high level of integrity and professionalism in all interactions with players and staff.
Person Specification (skills, knowledge, experience, attitude)
- Demonstrate excellent command of both Maltese and English languages to effectively communicate with a diverse range of patrons and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a casino environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic math skills and ability to handle transactions accurately.
- ECDL certification or equivalent.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of slot machine operations and troubleshooting is a plus.
