Job Description

We are currently seeking a Junior Accounts Clerk to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Reconciliation of daily takings of the outlets
  • Weekly deposits of cash and cheques
  • Accommodation and other invoices to corporate clients and tour operators
  • Understanding of summer and winter contracts reflected in the system
  • Monitor the special billing arrangements for groups and conventions as necessary to ensure that postings are in line with customer requirements
  • Monitor and pursue collection of overdue balances by company customers
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Updating of complimentary schedules
  • Review the ledger daily for correct postings of charges and take corrective action where necessary
  • Monthly creditors reconciliations
  • Issuing payments to suppliers
  • Posting of suppliers’ invoices in the accounts package
  • To keep abreast of Health and safety regulations
  • Other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Financial Controller or his Assistant
  • To work as a team with other departments and focus on the internal client relationship
