The Role
We are seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst to join our team. As the Accounting Analyst, you will support the finance team in the day-to-day operational analysis at The Villa Bologna Restaurant and Villa Bologna Pottery as well as overseeing the ordering and cost analysis to ensure we maximise the profitability of the businesses.
Main Roles
- Carry out daily reconciliation of operational activities
- Manage the ordering, receiving, storing and distribution of goods
- Process credit invoices to be paid
- Manage the inventory
- Analysis of product and food costs
- Oversee all goods received and carry out checks to ensure quantity, quality, weights and purchase specifications are as ordered
- Carry out price comparisons and price checks on all orders
- Manage and book shipments for incoming and outgoing international orders
Required Skills / Qualifications
- Minimum of 3+ years’ transferable experience
- Proven experience managing vendors and negotiating rates
- Must be highly organized, efficient and detail-oriented
