Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician (Pharmaceutical) to join our team in the Servicing department. Reporting to the servicing manager, the candidate will play a crucial role in providing technical support and maintenance services for pharmaceutical equipment and systems at client sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, qualify, and maintain pharmaceutical equipment and systems in accordance with company standards and regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of service activities, including repairs, maintenance, and customer interactions.
- Deliver comprehensive training to clients on the operation and maintenance of pharmaceutical equipment.
Requirements and Skills
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science-related fields.
- Thorough knowledge of pharmaceutical equipment, including spectroscopy and chromatography systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines and cGMP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Proven experience as a field service technician or experience within the pharmaceutical industry will be highly considered.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel abroad for manufacturer’s training as required.
