Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in finding and purchasing over-the-counter medications, health products, and pharmaceuticals.
- Assist the managing pharmacist with Pharmacy of Your Choice (POYC), checking and placing on shelves.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including shelves and product displays.
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system accurately.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient customer service.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, promotions, special offers, and effective up-selling and cross-selling of products to customers.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and secure shopping environment for both customers and staff.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not a must.
- Proficient in both English and Maltese languages.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt.
- Candidates must be available to work flexible hours, from 8 am to 10 pm.
