The company is looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual to join the existing Finance team. The selected candidate will be assigned to carry out a wide range of tasks relative to both the Company and trust whilst supporting the Finance team in the day-to-day tasks.

Main Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Preparing daily client bank reconciliations.
  • Processing electronic transfers and payments in relation to clients and third-party suppliers.
  • Liaising with other departments and responding to ad-hoc queries.
  • Be involved in the preparation of trust-related exercises and regulatory reporting such as MFSA and HMRC / CFR reporting, client tax calculations including monthly submissions and other client reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for accounts receivable collection. This involves processing withdrawal instructions, and bulk instructions, chasing for the status of Investment withdrawals, and taking care of issues encountered with the relevant investment platforms.
  • Provide support during the company’s audits.
  • Maintain the company’s accounting records and financial files.
  • The ideal candidate would be someone who has started ACCA / equivalent or has some experience working in a Finance department.

Skills Required:

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally at all levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications particularly Excel.
  • Good team player.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet strict deadlines.
