Job Description
We are currently seeking Shop Assistants on a full and part-time basis.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager, the ideal candidate will provide assistance and excellent customer service to the customers that visit our Shop E-Maistre which is located in Valletta, while ensuring that the shop is maintained up to the established standards at all times.
Responsibilities:
- The upkeep of the shop including maintaining clean displays, unpacking, re-shelving, and storing of stock as well as coordination of received deliveries.
- Operating the till and accurately handling cash and credit / debit card transactions.
- Assisting with regular and annual stock checks.
Requirements:
- Have proven working experience as a retail cashier or sales.
- Have basic PC knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment (e.g. cash register, scanners, money counters, etc).
- Have strong communication and time management skills.
- Be customer satisfaction-oriented.
- Have attention to detail and mathematical skills.
- Candidates who have experience in stationery will be given preference.
- Would be able to work on a POS system.
