Job Description

Malta International Airport plc is looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about working with people within an Airport environment, are willing to continuously learn, develop, and be part of a high-performance culture. This vacancy for multiple candidates has arisen within the Customer Service department on a full-time and part-time basis.

Purpose of Position
Providing assistance and operational support to all guests and passengers according to company standards. This position is responsible for assisting in the maintenance of airport processes to ensure that the passengers’ journey meets or exceeds the guest’s expectations.

Main Responsibilities Include

  • To be of service to all MIA guests, answer all queries and execute any requests made by the Customer Services department in an efficient and reliable manner.
  • To provide driving support as required within the airfield for VIP services whilst adhering to safety regulations.
  • To provide monitoring of the baggage sorting area at the check-in hall to ensure that the conveyor system is functioning.
  • Be able to take immediate action to rectify any issues whilst observing all safety guidelines.
  • To take all necessary decisions in the interest of our guests, within the parameters of his / her responsibilities.
  • To effectively communicate and report to CS Supervisors any occurrences, incidents or other matters in order to facilitate proper follow-ups.
  • To provide roaming assistance as required in areas of the terminal with higher incidence of passenger presence.

Requirements
Applicants should:

  • Be able to communicate clearly both in Maltese and English.
  • Have excellent communication skills when in direct contact with clients.
  • Have a positive and outgoing personality whilst being polite, smart and well-groomed.
  • Be willing to work on a shift basis as per the Company’s exigencies.
  • Have a clean police conduct and a clean driving licence.
