Job Description
A new position for a Stock Controller has become available with a leading retail company in Malta.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible to:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels;
- Place orders for new inventory;
- Conduct inventory audits;
- Ensure accurate record-keeping;
- Analyse sales data for forecasting;
- Coordinate with other departments (track shipments and deliveries with imports department);
- Resolve discrepancies or issues with stock levels;
- Upload stocks into the system;
- Manage location transfers within the inventory system;
- Handling all physical stock taking with all outlets.
Requirements:
- Previous local experience in a similar role, 1-year experience;
- The ability to process customs entries for imported goods would be an asset;
- Strong organizational and communication skills are essential;
- Able to communicate in English and preferably Maltese;
- Must have a valid driving license.
