Due to the expansion, we require, for immediate employment, a Calibration Technician.
Responsibilities
- Manage all calibration methods and procedures.
- Manage the calibration software.
- Ensure the accuracy of critical instruments by conducting inspections using electronic and pressure equipment.
- Gather calibration data and prepare reports / certificates as required.
- Manage workload to achieve production schedules and ensure completion within the timeframe.
- Coordinate with other departments any service visits by external contractors.
- Maintain control and traceability of reference standards at workshop and outside vendors.
Requirements
- Degree and / or diploma from a technical college or Wireman license A and B.
- Electrical and / or Mechanical Engineering experience preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes.
- Detailed knowledge of instrumentation, PLC automation software and coding languages.
- Strong measurement abilities and analysis skills to quickly and accurately calibrate, monitor, test, and repair equipment.
- Troubleshooting skills to determine the reasons why measurements and test results are not within the expected range.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Communication and organizational skills.
