About the role
Are you an aspiring HR enthusiast? Are you eager about people development with a passion for creating a workplace as vibrant as the events we host? We are looking for a Junior HR Executive to join the team at JUGS and be responsible for the coordination of all aspects of the HR function and employee lifecycle, including training and talent management, while also being the heartbeat of our company culture.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with management to identify needs and attract top talent
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, coordinating and conducting interviews for diverse roles within the company
  • Coordinate employee onboarding to ensure new hires are immersed in our unique culture
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practices tailored to the events industry
  • Conduct internal training sessions on HR-related topics
  • Address employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring a harmonious work environment
  • Be the go-to person for all things related to team engagement
  • Champion employee wellbeing initiatives, including employee benefits programs and internal team-building activities
  • Collaborate with Finance and handle payroll-related tasks
  • Maintain accurate HR records and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and GDPR
  • Office day-to-day administration
  • Stay informed about industry trends and legal requirements to ensure HR practices align with current standards

  • Detail-oriented – you ensure every aspect of HR runs smoothly and efficiently

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of HR experience
  • Knowledge of payroll, employment laws and regulations will be considered an asset
