We’re now on the lookout for a Head of Operations to pioneer the growth and development of Infinite Fusion Services – a service dedicated to the planning and installation of water and electricity systems ranging from specialised automated street lighting to all mechanical and electrical works in commercial buildings.

The role
As our new Head of Operations, you will be working together with senior management to execute the Company’s strategic vision. Together with your team, you will bridge the gap between strategy and operations, ensuring the effective growth of this critical pillar.
Your role will be divided into two core principles:
- Sales:
- Pre-sales engineering: Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tenders or private bids, determining resource requirements, quantities, and timelines for projects.
- Pricing strategy: Analyze project requirements to quantify costs and determine pricing strategies to charge clients effectively.
- Client interaction: Interface with clients to understand their needs, provide technical expertise, and negotiate terms through online and face-to-face meetings.
- Supplier evaluation: Obtain multiple quotations for materials, evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and efficiency to ensure optimal procurement decisions.
- Project management:
- Task planning: Develop project task breakdowns, defining project milestones and requirements for workers.
- Resource allocation: Determine human resources, materials, tools, and vehicles required for each project task.
- Project scheduling: Develop project schedules, estimate task durations and coordinate resource availability.
- Quality control: Oversee the quality of workmanship, ensuring adherence to standards and specifications.
- Documentation: Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and procurement orders.
- Coordination: Collaborate with foremen to ensure efficient project execution and address any issues that arise.
Who you are
This role calls for a professional who holds the following:
- Maltese-warranted Electrical Engineering certification.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including task planning, resource allocation, and scheduling.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Proficiency in procurement processes, supplier evaluation, and negotiation.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team coordination.
- Attention to detail and analytical thinking for accurate pricing and resource planning.
