They’re opening a brand-new online casino in Belgrade and are currently seeking a Head of Operations (Online Casino).
Main responsibilities:
- Collaborate with senior management to devise and implement operational strategies specific to Serbia;
- Supervise the operational setup, ensuring projects adhere to agreed-upon timelines;
- Establish and lead the local team, partnering with HR to devise recruitment and retention strategies tailored to Serbia;
- Customize HR procedures to suit Serbian cultural and legal contexts;
- Cultivate a company culture that fosters exceptional performance and high morale;
- Create and enforce operational policies and procedures aligned with Serbian standards;
- Direct day-to-day operations post-setup to ensure seamless functionality;
- Adjust staffing, skills, and equipment levels to meet operational requirements;
- Ensure compliance with Serbian legal regulations and company policies;
- Provide regular operational performance reports to Senior Management, utilizing data-driven insights to drive improvement;
- Develop and manage operational budgets, implementing cost-effective practices;
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed, leveraging expertise in operational management.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in establishing and managing operations, preferably in iGaming or similar industries;
- Extensive experience in operations management with significant leadership roles;
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field; Master’s degree preferred;
- Proficiency in English and Serbian communication;
- Certifications in project management or leadership (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma) are advantageous;
- Knowledge of Serbian regulatory and legal frameworks;
- Exceptional leadership skills with a proven ability to build and manage effective teams;
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management abilities;
- Innovative thinking with a focus on continuous operational improvement.
