Job Description
We are looking for a Storekeeper to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing our inventory, ensuring that products are properly stored and accounted for, optimizing space usage, and maintaining accurate records. The Storekeeper will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations and will be instrumental in implementing new inventory management processes and systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory levels, minimize overstocking or stock deficits, and maintain accurate records using our platform.
- Ensure that inventory is properly stored, labelled, and organized for easy access.
- Coordinate with other departments to forecast supply needs and manage inventory replenishment.
- Optimize space utilization to maximize storage capacity.
- Continuously improve inventory management processes and systems to increase efficiency.
- Conduct periodic physical inventory checks and update inventory records as needed.
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of experience in inventory management, preferably in a retail or wholesale environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with other departments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Basic computer skills with experience using inventory management software or tools.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
