Job Description
We are currently seeking a Security Officer to join our team.
Securing the premises
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of Hotel guests, employees and property
- Responding to fire alarms and bomb threats
- Opening guest room safes if requested to do so
- Controlling the opening of Stores and receiving goods out of normal operating hours
- Controlling the issuing and access of Hotel keys and ensures that these are returned
- Dealing with enquiries from outside agents
- Monitoring the CCTV cameras
- Responsible for the lost and found items
Transport
- Driving company vehicles and escorting Hotel guests if necessary
- Booking staff transport on a daily basis
Health and safety
- Reporting and responding to staff or guest injuries
- Reporting staff sickness, lateness and leaving the Hotel early to the Human Resources department
- Ensuring that First Aid boxes are well-stocked
- Inspecting and adjusting safety materials such as fire extinguishers
