Job Description
We are currently seeking an HR Assistant who will be reporting to the HR Manager.
Main Responsibilities
- Assisting the HR Manager with the implementation of the department strategy
- Monitor fixed-term contracts and liaise with management regarding extensions
- Assisting the HR Manager with single work permits, medical examinations, fights, and other administrative duties
- Assisting the HR Manager with recruitment, interviewing, and selection
- Support the company with manpower planning / forecasting
- Maintain and manage all personnel records keeping all up to date
- Assist with the monitoring of vacation leave and sick leave
- Provide administrative support to the team as may be needed daily
- Perform other duties as may be required from time to time

- Excellent communication skills, able to communicate at all levels
- Effective negotiation skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Able to work under pressure, in a team, and on his / her initiative
- Excellent time management skills
- Confident user of Microsoft Suite
- High proficiency in English
- Able to work in a performance-oriented environment
- Able to respect deadlines and focus on delivering on time
- Additional languages would be an advantage
Candidates need to be presently located in Malta.
