GasanMamo, is a leading Insurer in Malta, that is dedicated to excellence and high standards. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager within our Commercial Underwriting department.
In this role, you will:
- Utilize your experience to underwrite, negotiate, and secure business on corporate risks.
- Manage and service a diverse portfolio of clients’ accounts, fostering strong relationships, and delivering exceptional service.
- Drive innovation by spearheading the development of new products and enhancing existing offerings to meet evolving market needs.
- Monitor adherence to appropriate underwriting standards.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the Underwriting team.
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum five years of experience within a Commercial Underwriting department, demonstrating technical expertise and a deep understanding of industry best practices and trends.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Possession of the Associateship of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualification and/or an insurance-related university degree at MQF level 6 or higher.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong relationships.
