About the job
We are looking for a Treasury Back Office employee who is going to provide crucial support to the Treasury department in various administrative and operational tasks. This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of treasury operations, contributing to the overall financial health and stability of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Transaction processing:
    • Input and authorize transactions covering treasury products FX spot, derivatives (forward, swap, futures, options, CDS, IRS) and securities (stocks and bonds).
  • Settlement:
    • Receipt of counter-value and payment of funds in respect of all deals on the respective value dates.
  • System administration and maintenance
    • Support the administration of Treasury management systems and other financial software and assist in system upgrades, enhancements, and troubleshooting.
  • Documentation and record-keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to Treasury operations, policies, and procedures. Organize and archive financial records in compliance with retention policies.

Given the critical importance of accuracy in treasury operations, strong problem-solving skills are essential, especially when encountering unexpected challenges. The successful candidate will be expected to analyze situations, identify the underlying causes of issues, and implement timely and effective solutions.

Attributes and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Banking, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Treasury operations with a minimum of 3 years.
