The role
The role is key at the center of the organization in ensuring the highest quality level of services to both internal and external customers and in guaranteeing flawless compliance with laws, best practices and internal policies.

Key responsibilities
Account Payable Management:

  • Responsible for continued relationships with suppliers Accounting departments
  • Deposit supplier invoices into the account payable management system
  • Ensure follow-up of validation and budget control cycle by requestors and managers
  • Ensure follow-up of quotations, proforma, down-payments registered and paid
  • Monitor suppliers’ balances: payments delinquency reporting and chasing
  • Ensure relations with external partners (auditors, subsidiaries’ management…)
  • Provide ad-hoc operational accounting services to external partners
  • Perform permanent controlling and reporting on payable accounts

Professional experience and interpersonal skills
You hold an A’ level (Accounting speciality or initial stage of ACCA) or a Bachelor in Accounting. You aim to develop your skills further in an international environment. You are proactive, precise and wish to gain experience in accounting. You also have a good knowledge of digital office tools (especially Excel) and can work with basic database extraction software.

On top of these criteria, you will also need to demonstrate

  • Basic knowledge of accounting software
  • Fluency in spoken and written English
  • Reactivity, dynamism, and proactive listening
  • Organization and rigor
  • Team spirit and discretion
  • French knowledge will be a plus

Conditions

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent employment
  • Location: Malta
  • Onboarding: As soon as possible
  • Annual gross salary : €20,000 – €30,000 depending on experience
