CE Installations Ltd. provides both the installation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical services for a wide variety of customers across a diverse range of projects.
CE Installations has over 250 multi-cultural employees and due to recent growth, the company is seeking to recruit a Finance Officer to join our dynamic team.
The role of a Finance Officer involves generating invoices, posting payments, and reconciling accounts to ensure that payments are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Whilst reporting to the Accounts Executive, this employee is also responsible for communicating with customers regarding payment inquiries or issues, maintaining accurate records of payments and transactions, and working closely with other departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
General duties include but are not limited to:
- Invoicing for various services
- End-of-day process for daily transactions
- Assisting in the end-of-month closing processes
- Other duties that may be required from time to time
- Posting of journals
- Posting of suppliers’ invoices
- Maintain up-to-date supplier statements reconciliations
- Liaise with Creditors
- Assist with the half-yearly stock take
- Reconciling suppliers, debtors, banks and allocation of payments
Position requirements:
- O’ level in Accounting will be considered an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to work well independently
- Familiarity with accounting software and other relevant tools
- European passport or working permission to work in Malta
- Clean police conduct certificate (must be presented)
