Job Description
Due to the continuous growth of the company, CATERESSENCE one of the leading catering company’s in the industry in Malta, is recruiting a full-time Senior Delivery Driver.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To ensure that all deliveries are delivered on time according to schedule reflecting to the needs of the operation.
- To ensure that products and equipment are delivered in the same state as when loaded.
- Responsible for proper loading and securing of trolleys/crates to prevent movement and allow safe transport and handle loading and unloading as required.
- Maintain accurate records and logs.
- Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips; responsible for returning Company vehicle in the same state as taken.
- Keep the interior and exterior of the Company vehicle clean.
- To report any incidents that occur with immediate effect to the Logistics Supervisor and Security.
- Coordinate with the other drivers in the absence of the Logistics Supervisor.
- To report any noted defects on a Company vehicle to the Logistics Supervisor and Security.
- Observe all related Driving and Health and Safety Regulations as specified by law and Company standards.
Skills Required
- Ability to communicate in both English and Maltese.
- Be computer literate.
- Have a smart appearance.
- Possess a license C driving license.
