Job Description
We are currently seeking a Web Administrator to join our team.
The Web Administrator handles the maintenance, optimization, and performance of the company’s e-commerce website. This role involves ensuring the smooth operation of the website, managing product listings, and implementing strategies to enhance user experience and drive online sales.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the e-commerce website, including product listings, pricing, and promotions.
- Monitor website performance, analyse traffic patterns, and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic to the website.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Design teams to create engaging content, banners, and visuals for the website.
- Ensure website security and compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and PCI DSS.
- Monitor and respond to customer inquiries, feedback, and reviews on the website.
- Coordinate with suppliers (brands) and third-party service providers to resolve technical issues and implement website enhancements.
- Conduct regular testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve website functionality issues.
- Analyze sales data and website metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Stay informed about industry trends, e-commerce best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance the website.
Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in website administration, preferably in an e-commerce environment.
- Ability in website management platform (Shopify).
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and best practices.
- Experience with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
