Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with a friendly and helpful attitude, answering questions and guiding them to the best produce choices.
- Operate cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain a tidy checkout area.
- Ensure our shelves are well-stocked by regularly restocking fresh produce.
- Perform quality control checks to remove damaged or spoiled items and maintain the highest quality standards.
- Keep the store clean and organized, including routine cleaning and sanitizing.
- Assist in creating attractive product displays to enhance the shopping experience.
- Properly label products with accurate prices and product information.
- Assist with unloading and storing incoming shipments of produce.
Requirements:
- Customer service-oriented with excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to product quality.
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
- Enthusiasm for fresh produce and a willingness to learn about various fruits and vegetables.
- Physical stamina to lift and move produce crates as needed.
- Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
