Job Description

We are looking for a highly organized person who is able to maintain accurate financial records for our organisation. Your attention to detail will be essential in contributing to the smooth operation of our finance function. 

Responsibilities include but, are not limited to:

  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Performing regular reconciliation of accounts to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies. This includes bank statements, sales / purchase ledger accounts, and intercompany transactions.
  • Preparing and posting journal entries to reflect business transactions accurately; including credit card transactions and trial balance postings.
  • Conducting regular cash float counts to ensure accuracy and accountability in cash handling processes.
  • Generating and distributing invoices accurately and in a timely manner to tenants.
  • Providing support to the finance team as needed.

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Shireburn Financial Manager (SFM) will be considered an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
