The 1926 Collection will be launching a new, elegant establishment offering a fine-dining experience to our esteemed guests and patrons.
Responsibilities
- Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health and safety standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area by regularly cleaning work surfaces, floors, and equipment.
- Sanitize food preparation areas and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.
- Disposing of kitchen waste appropriately, including recycling where applicable. Keeping waste disposal areas clean and organized.
- Adherence to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of chemicals, equipment, and food items. Follow standard operating procedures for kitchen cleanliness and hygiene.
- Communicating effectively with other kitchen staff and management regarding any issues or requirements related to kitchen operations.
The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities
- A keen eye for detail to ensure dishes and equipment are cleaned thoroughly and kitchen areas are properly sanitized.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure during busy periods.
- Dependable and punctual, with a commitment to fulfilling assigned duties.
- Knowledge of basic hygiene practices and food safety regulations.
- Prior experience working in a kitchen environment or similar role will be considered an asset.
