The role

Would you like to develop the business strategy and planning models that help improve the go-to-market policies of some of the leading global brands in Malta? If are looking for a rewarding job, which will allow you to grow both personally and professionally, then the Brand Operations team at VJSM is the right place for you.

We are looking for someone with the ability to implement market strategies across multiple platforms and product lines while developing a deep understanding of our brands. As part of the Brand Operations team, you will be reporting to the Senior Brand Manager but will liaise closely with other departments, including Shopper.

Marketing, supply chain, and finance; all of which are organised around the brands we sell. This opportunity will give you the chance to develop different skills related to the marketing field, as you will be assisting the Brand Manager in implementing diverse projects and in developing in-store communication tools / methods for a group of brands within the company’s portfolio. You will have the opportunity to test your knowledge and organisational skills in real-life situations across different customer groups, channels, and shopper situations. You will work with passionate people and will receive both formal training, as well as day-to-day mentoring from your Manager.

Requirements

  • Possess a degree in marketing or a related field, or previous experience in a marketing role.
  • Have a very good command of spoken and written Maltese and English.
  • Be computer literate and highly proficient in the use of MS Office applications.
  • Have a valid driving licence.
  • Have strong organization skills, be attentive to detail and be diligent.
  • Able to collaborate effectively in a multifunctional team.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, including a polite and approachable attitude.
