Our ICT department is a vibrant team of bright individuals, which encourages creativity and team effort. As an ICT Executive, you will report to the ICT Manager and will have a collaborative role, with the right balance between group-based tasks and project-based work. This role will give you the opportunity to grow your talent and propose new ideas to drive the company forward.
If you have a flare for innovation, you will excel at identifying software and hardware alternatives for handling present and future requirements. The end-user support aspect calls for excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and a flexible, can-do attitude to understand, resolve, and implement solutions to support the needs of the group companies and the varied professional industries within which they operate.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and assist in basic computer / printer issues.
- Configure and install workstations with the company’s software applications.
- Troubleshoot, identify, and rectify any software problems liaising with program vendors wherever necessary.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade the company’s application software.
- Provide additional support to IT users within all departments of the company.
- Provide support to office staff mainly on the company’s ERP systems, Sales Force systems, as well as Office 365 and work closely with the end users.
- Maintain the company’s devices.
- Assist with any other departmental jobs as may be required from time to time and as may arise as a result of the development and growth of the department.
Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Be qualified in IT at certificate / diploma level.
- Be familiar with various operating systems and platforms.
- Possess a good command of written and spoken English.
- Possess a right to work and reside in Malta.
- Possess a valid Maltese driving license.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be able to work in a team.
- Be able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
- Possess efficient organizational skills.
- Be motivated towards assisting the department towards achieving its established targets.
