Job Description

V.J. Salomone Consumer Lines Ltd forms part of the V.J. Salomone Group of Companies, established since 1920. We are a leading import and distribution company representing international brands in the fast-moving consumer business and are currently seeking to recruit a part-time Administrative Clerk to join our dynamic team.

The selected candidate shall report directly to the Marketing Manager and will primarily be responsible for clerical and administrative duties within an office environment.

Although not exhaustive other responsibilities will include:

  • Data input.
  • Compile data reports for analysis.
  • Update of department documents and digital platforms.
  • Liaising with other departments.
  • Filing and book-keeping.
  • General administrative tasks.

This position calls for an effective team player, with a can-do attitude, having the ability to meet the exigencies of the team and possesses excellent multi-tasking and administrative skills, along with sound basic accounting and marketing knowledge. Needless to say, that due to the nature of this position, one is also required to be highly conversant with the use of MS Office applications, use of social media platforms and other IT office-related tools.

Other requisites include:

  • Being in possession of at least an advanced level of education.
  • Be conversant in both Maltese and English.
  • Possesses strong work ethics and integrity.
  • Possesses excellent writing, communication and computer skills.
  • Be able to multitask and prioritise.

Whilst not essential, preference will be given to applicants having a minimum of two years’ work experience within a similar position.
