About us
Villa Bologna Pottery makes tableware, lamps and decorative pieces. We have a shop in Malta and London. Next to the pottery shop and production we have a bistro restaurant serving European cuisine.

The Role
You will be involved in the restaurant and pottery and ensure our business’s production, logistics and stock management run smoothly in line with our objectives. This is a wide-ranging role and an exciting opportunity to join our fast-growing business.

The ideal person will:

  • Have a high level of computer literacy especially with excel
  • Have experience in a similar role
  • Have excellent organisation skills and eye for detail
  • Be hands on, adaptable and flexible

  • Have excellent communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities:

  • Stock control
    • Carry out regular stocktakes
    • Monitor stock levels ensuring stock levels are maintained at the appropriate target level highlighting low stock levels and placing purchase orders where necessary
  • Orders and Logistics
    • Liaise with local and international suppliers when orders need to be made
    • Be responsible for all local and international shipments and deliveries to ensure everything arrives and they arrive on time working closely with the suppliers and transporters
  • Production
    • Making sure the production teams daily activities are planned out inline with the production requirements
    • Monitor the day to day running of the production teams and oversee quality control and breakages
  • Finance and Administration
    • Work closely with management providing all required daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements are submitted in a timely and organised manner
