- In possession of a relevant qualification in food preparation
- Hold a food handling license, the company will provide renewal when needed

As an Assistant Chef you will be a crucial member of our Office Kitchen team. You will work closely with our Chef to provide our employees with top-quality meals and with our Office team in contributing to employee experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the Chef to keep up to date with stock levels, stock rotations, and ordering adequate supplies to meet demand
- Oversee food preparation in Chef’s absence and also be involved in food preparation
- Supervise the functioning of the kitchen and the Kitchen Assistants
- Control and analyse the quality levels of production and presentation of food in the staff kitchen
- Control and assess the cleanliness sanitation and hygiene
- Establish and maintain effective employee relations
- Deal with customer complaints fairly and immediately
- Be fully aware of all dishes provided, the menu items, and the presentation
- Prepare hot and cold food as per the menu
- Ensure Kitchen Assistants are aware of dietary requirements and food allergies
- Assist the Chef in training and developing Kitchen Assistants
- Follow health and safety regulations
