Established in 2017, Vassallo Group Realty is a collection of residential homes and commercial outlets as well as commercial complexes that offer prime properties across the Maltese Islands. Rental opportunities come in the form of penthouses, apartments, townhouses, and villas.
Apart from our collection of residential possibilities, Vassallo Group Realty also rents out commercial spaces and offices where all business location expectations will be met. The Company is made up of a small sales and Administration team, a Maintenance team, and a Security team.
The role
A vacancy has arisen in our Accounts department for the post of Accounts Clerk on a full-time basis. The selected candidate would need to have a solid knowledge of accounting practices and would be prepared to support the Accounts team in the general accounting and administration tasks and duties within the property sector.
Main responsibilities include:
- Recording purchasing transactions in the accounting system.
- Verifying and checking the accuracy of purchasing documents.
- Performing supplier reconciliations.
- Tracking of vendor’s payments.
- Processing payments accordingly.
- Constant communication with the purchasing department to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Posting and filing of invoices.
- Assisting with the preparation of annual statements.
- Other ad-hoc reporting may be required.
Skills and requirements:
- Be in possession of an Advanced level of Education in Accounting.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics / Business Central would be considered an asset.
- Have two (2) years’ experience in a similar role would be considered an asset.
- Analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
- Able to build customer relationships and ensure good communication.
