Job Description
The HR Administrator is responsible for assisting the HR Manager in providing a comprehensive HR Administration service, ensuring a seamless onboarding / offboarding experience, and coordinating training and development programs.
Responsibilities:
- Handle the daily administrative HR duties of the Company and provide clerical support to the HR Manager
- Assist in the recruitment cycle – post adverts, job profiles and descriptions, set interviews, shortlist CVs, reference checks
- Process all onboarding and HR documents – offer letters, contracts, jobs plus engagement forms and CFR documents, termination, and monitor employee records maintenance
- Prepare orientation materials and coordinate orientation sessions
- Handle the distribution of uniforms and security access
- Collaborate with managers to support the employee offboarding process
- Support performance management by tracking goals, coordinating performance reviews, assisting managers in addressing issues and implementing improvement plans
- Generate periodic and ad hoc statistical reports on HR metrics
- Identify training needs based on performance evaluation, organise and schedule training sessions
- Assist with the preparation of work permit applications for third-country nationals and single permit renewals
- Assist in the coordination and planning of social events
Requirements:
- A relevant qualification will be considered an asset
- Minimum 1 years experience working within the HR department
- Strong understanding of HR practices and Maltese Employment Law
- Able to handle confidential information
- Possess a clean driving license
- Computer literacy (MS Office tools)
- Speaks Maltese and English
