Vaia Legal, a boutique law firm specialising in aviation and yachting transactions is looking for a Legal Administrator to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing modern team and to develop one’s career further.
As the Legal Administrator with Vaia Legal, you will provide general administrative support in addition to providing a full range of office organisational support.
This role is intended for future growth and the successful candidate will be exposed to a number of processes and services offered in the aviation and maritime legal sectors. The role is being offered both on a part-time or a full-time basis and the necessary training will be given.
Key Responsibilities of the Role:
- Managing calendar appointments.
- Scanning and filing of documents.
- Ongoing maintenance of client databases and files.
- Compliance monitoring.
- Proofreading.
- Drafting of standard form templates.
- Assistance with the registration process of vessels and aircraft.
- Maintaining client relationships.
- Liaising with the Malta Business Registry, Transport Malta and other Malta Government agencies.
- Ensuring compliance with set deadlines.
- Generally fulfilling any KPI’s that the company may indicate from time to time.
Our Requirements:
- Tertiary level of education or over 4 years experience as detailed below.
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft programs.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Work independently with little supervision and motivation to help grow the team and firm portfolio.
- A can-do and will-do attitude.
- Fluent in both spoken and written English.
- Fluency in French or Italian will be considered an asset.
- A valid driving license.
- A minimum of two years of working experience in a corporate, legal, compliance or accountancy environment.
