Job Description
Umana Medical Technologies is a leading innovator in the field of medical devices, committed to improving healthcare outcomes globally. We are seeking for a Technical Manager to join our Software Area within our R&D department.
He / she will coordinate a team of Software Developers and will be responsible for managing the activities and be in support of both internal and external colleagues working in synergy with the rest of the corporate team.
As a certified company working in the medical devices sector, it is required from our end
- To make sure that quality procedures are followed and documentation is done as per guidelines
- Collaborate with Quality and Regulatory department to ensure that quality documentation, technical files and functional specification are delivered in accordance with the quality standards adopted
Responsibilities
- Delegate, coordinate and supervise the proper management of tasks
- Be the technical reference for the development team
- Promote necessary actions to ensure the achievement of the planned objectives
- Manage priorities and any reminders to other teams
- Actively contribute to the technical resolution of complex issues
- Plan the scheduling of resources and activities
- Oversee the proper development of functional units, tests and product documentation
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Technical diploma with experience in the role of at least 3 years
- Experience coordinating software development teams of at least 2 years
- Ability to make architectural choices at the product level
- Knowledge of JAVA language (JEE)
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript
- RDBMS knowledge
- Knowledge of Web Services in REST and SOAP modes
- Coordination skills
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong listening skills
