We are currently looking to recruit a full-time Human Resources Officer to support the function of the Human Resources department through the duties outlined below together with any other tasks as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the full recruitment cycle and managing the hiring process.
- Manage work permits for third-country national employees.
- Assist in performance management processes.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
- Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
- Provide counselling on policies and procedures.
- Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Skills / education:
- Diploma level in Human Resources Management or other similar fields such as Business Administration and / or Psychology.
- Proficient in MS Office Applications particularly in MS Excel.
- Experience in a similar position with good knowledge of HR functions.
- Good knowledge of labor laws and disciplinary procedures.
- Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ethics and reliability.
- Excellent writing skills in English and Maltese.
