We are currently seeking a Chef de Partie to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Be capable of working in all sections; A la Carte service, pizza and seasons outside catering
- Assists her seniors in ensuring smooth and efficient service
- Report for duty punctually wearing the correct employee uniform at all times and appropriate appearance grooming
- Supervise the employees assigned, ensuring that correct standards and methods of service are maintained and adhered to at all times
- Checks that the quantity and quality of items ordered from stores are received and stored in proper condition according to Waterfront Hotel procedures and used in accordance with standard recipes
- Provide a friendly service at all times
- Being able to lead the team in the absence of her seniors
- Maintain at all times a good working relationship with all colleagues
- Have a complete understanding of all policies, HACCP system, health and safety
- Maintain a high standard of personal appearance at all times
- Respond positively to change
- Promotes the identity of the company and has a sense of personalised rapport with all clients
- Stores requisitions
- Monitoring of functions
