Assistant F&B Manager

The Preluna Hotel is looking for an experienced Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to assist in the daily operations of our restaurants.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a high standard of performance at all times, alongside providing high standards of service to our guests


• Supervise the F&B team, allocating duties and responsibilities


• Responsibility for stock control, including ordering, acceptance, maintenance of stock levels


• Report and liaise regularly with the F&B Manager and assist with operational tasks


• Prepare rosters, ensuring staff levels are appropriate and efficient


• Take over duties in the absence of the F&B Manager


• Conduct on-the-job training ensuring that standards, behaviours and proper grooming are adhered to at all times


• Encourage upselling

Candidates must:

• Be fluent in English, already based in Malta and eligible to work


• Have knowledge of Microsoft Office applications


• Must be able to work on own initiative, be highly organised with a smart appearance


• Be trustworthy and diligent and have an excellent eye for detail


• Be willing to work flexible hours
