Job Description
Tektraco is seeking a dedicated Site Project Leader to lead fibre installation teams. This role involves leading teams, operating machinery, participating in fibre cable installation activities, and ensuring the efficient completion of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team leadership: Lead, supervise, and motivate installation teams to achieve project objectives and maintain high morale.
- Installation: Collaborate with installation teams by actively participating in fibre laying activities, which may include working alongside them to install fibre within trenches, culverts, ducts, and other designated locations.
- Safety management: Ensure that all installation work is carried out in strict compliance with safety regulations and guidelines.
- Target setting: Establish clear performance targets and goals for installation teams, and ensure they are met within specified timelines.
- Progress reporting: Provide regular progress updates to senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential solutions.
- Quality control: Maintain a high standard of work by conducting quality inspections and addressing any issues promptly.
- Stakeholder liaison: Act as a vital link between senior management, installation teams, and clients to facilitate smooth project operations and address any concerns.
- Safety promotion: Promote and enforce safety practices among all team members to minimize accidents and incidents.
