We are currently looking for a Maintenance Operator who will be mainly responsible for operating and troubleshooting utility systems that support manufacturing processes.

The Position Requires:

  • Maintaining and fixing utility systems, namely but not limited to water treatment systems, chillers, air compressors and other relating support equipment.
  • Taking an active role in the regular inspection and testing of mechanical, electrical and automation systems.
  • Carrying out preventive maintenance and performing breakdown maintenance.
  • Strict adherence to standard operating procedures and quality standards.
  • Ensuring the correct PPE is used according to the task at hand.
  • Constantly liaising and communicating with management and colleagues regarding all pertaining mechanical or electrical issues and ensuring a proper handover.

The Selected Person Will be:

  • In possession of a technical diploma and ideally an electrical licence.
  • Proficient in English and ideally Italian.
  • Possess technical insight, ideally in a manufacturing working environment.
  • An efficient problem solver, capable of taking corrective action during equipment malfunctions.
  • Able to work safely, and cautiously and also maintain deadlines.
  • Able to take responsibility and show initiative.
  • Able to handle pressure and shifting priorities and remain focused when problems arise.
  • Able to effectively communicate and collaborate with all cross-departmental team members.
  • Willing to attend training.
  • Ideally experienced working in a pharmaceutical and / or GMP set-up.
