Job Description

This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages, and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

We are currently looking for a full-time Shift Supervisor to work in our new outlet in Gozo! If you are ready for this challenge and you fit with the below profile, then we are ready to give you a chance to work with US! S/he will be reporting to the Stores Manager.

You will be responsible to

  • Run shifts in a Starbucks store, taking responsibility for the performance, employees, and customers in the store.
  • Anticipates customer and store needs by constantly evaluating the environment and customers.
  • Communicate observations to the shift lead, so that the team can respond as necessary to create the third-place environment during each shift.
  • Delivers customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude. Discovers and responds to customer needs.
  • Executes store operations during scheduled shifts. Organizes opening and closing duties.
  • Follows Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including but not limited to those for cash handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all partners during each shift.
  • Follow up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of customer service for all customers.
  • Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  • Recognizes and reinforces individual and team accomplishments by using existing organizational recognition tools.

  • Communication skills both written and spoken in English.
  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and / or holidays.
  • Experience in a position that required constant interacting with and fulfilling the requests of customers.
  • Experience delegating tasks to other employees and / or coordinating the tasks of two (2) or more employees.
