Job Description

This position contributes to Starbucks success by providing legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates the Starbucks Experience for our customers by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean and comfortable store environment. Models and acts in accordance with Starbucks guiding principles.

We are currently looking for an Operations Manager to complement our team. S/he will be reporting to the Director of Operations.

The Job
Apart from the day-to-day, the candidate will manage the overall operations of all outlets.

Ensures the implementation of company campaigns by motivating and supporting the store team to develop and implement action plans, that meet operational standards. Regularly utilises information tools and analyses financial reports to identify and address trends and issues in district performance. Effectively communicates business strategy and vision across different teams to ensure clarity of message and inspiration.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience working in a faced-paced, multi-site retail environment.
  • Knows how to analyse organisational issues and build strong and effective relationships with business leaders.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and guide management.
  • Able to work in a methodical and detailed manner, whilst managing and prioritising multiple and sometimes conflicting tasks.
  • Proficient on a computer with experience in using programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong organisational skills, with a commitment and ability to follow tasks through to completion.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer focus, with a pro-active, mature, positive, action-orientated, and ‘can-do’ attitude.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in this field.
  • A driving licence is a must.
  • Verbal and written communication in English is a must.
  • Diploma in Management.
