Job Description

As Customer Applications Support Analyst, you will be responsible for the system administration and support of business applications systems, within SITA’s Customer Application Support team. You will assure SITA’s competitive strength and business growth through the provision of the highest quality technical services to our customers at their premises.

Reporting to the Team Lead Customer Applications Support, you will be a part of the GEO Service Management team.

What you will do

  • Daily monitoring of interfaces, backups and recovery policies and procedures.
  • Document business user requirements through standard systems analysis methodologies.
  • Resolve application problems directly or in conjunction with vendor and third-party application developers.
  • Provide support on various applications managed by the team.
  • Research and evaluate alternatives to recommend the most efficient and cost-effective solution that meets business requirements and IT standards.
  • Provide daily system / application administration.

Who you are

  • Good knowledge of operating systems: Microsoft Windows Server, Linux (Ubuntu, Centos, will be considered as an asset).
  • Experience in Jira and Confluence or equivalent is considered an asset.
  • Good experience in one or more of the following technology stack databases: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
  • Vendor-specific certifications, given preference to Veeam, VMware or similar.
